Elisha McFarland is a seventeen-year-old writer, blogger, editor, basketball player, and most importantly- adopted son of God. When he isn’t writing, you can often find him reading his Bible, drinking way too much coffee, working on his soon-to-be-published books, and hanging out with friends.
Elisha is the son of long-time missionary couple Keith and Laura McFarland, who moved to the mission field to serve in Uganda in 2004, when Elisha was about nine months old. The McFarlands spent 16 years in Uganda and had three children there. Now, they have moved back to the USA for a furlough before they spend what will likely be their last term in Uganda.
Elisha is finishing his junior year as a homeschooler at the Veritas Scholars Academy. In a few months, he will begin his senior year at Cross Lanes Christian School, a Christian private school located in West Virginia. He hopes to play basketball and receive his diploma there, before moving in to Biblical or pastoral studies at Wheaton College or Moody Bible Institute.
If you wish to contact Elisha, please click on the Contact page above. His working hours are between 11:00 AM Eastern Time to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. You can contact him at any point, but please allow a 12-hour period for a response.
Elisha is also on a journey to reach 1,000 followers, so if you’d like to help him out and recommend this blog to somebody you know, that would be fantastic.
A few obscure facts about him: He is a double jointed, six-foot Son of Jesus that likes the Bears and Steelers. He is really into watching sports, so if you ever get the chance to hang out with him, you will likely be bombarded with questions about opinions on the NFL and NBA.
Anyway, thanks for wanting to learn more about him! Now, all that remains is for you to click that Blog button and make sure you have read his newest post (check it out, it’s fire). Thanks!
