The Kennedy Award of Excellence

The Kennedy Award of Excellence

The Kennedy Award of Excellence is a registered award of excellence for blogs through its writing, presentation and objectives. It fosters human values; promoting intellectual, emotional and moral growth of peers.

Thank you so much to my brother from Jesusluvsall for the nomination! I haven’t done an award in a while (in fact, I tend to avoid them), but I liked the unique features that set the Kennedy Award apart from the others.

With that, make sure to check out his blog by clicking here, he regularly publishes quality, encouraging content, and I highly encourage you to subscribe to his website!

So, without further ado, let’s get into the award!

The Rules

  1. Use the same Kennedy Award of Excellence image as your nominator.
  2. Pingback to his blog and, if you want to, encourage your followers to subscribe to him.
  3. Answer the 5 questions he answered.
  4. Nominate 5 people for the award and link to their sites.

The Questions

1. When did you start blogging?

I began blogging as a twelve-year-old on my dad’s blog. I had absolutely no writing skill whatsoever and mainly wrote for my grandparents. After a year in that category, I decided to blog on my own site, and so I created a personal website on Blogspot, where I blogged irregularly for two years (for a grand total of nine followers).

Eventually, I was encouraged to create my own WordPress website, and after doing so, I knew that I had discovered my passion. I created the website in March of 2019, and I’ve been blogging here ever since (although the title/URL of the site has since shifted).

2: What is your blogging objective?

As aforementioned, I originally blogged for my grandparents, hoping to brighten their day with some random, parental-inspired content. Eventually, I moved to WordPress in the hopes that my unique perspective and style (or so I was told) would be heard.

Now, my objective is simple: glorify God and point others to Him through publishing quality, self-inspired and self-researched blog posts.

3: What motivated you to start blogging?

In the beginning, very little. I was motivated by nothing more than the idea that my grandparents would somehow like what I wrote.

Now, almost five years later, I am motivated by the responses to my posts and the knowledge that blogging has become my outlet. When I’m tired, weary, or depressed, writing my thoughts and struggles has become the best way to move on and mature.

4. Do you see blogging as a long-term goal?

Absolutely! I echo the words of my nominator when I say that blogging is my lifelong goal. I fail to see a reason that would cause me to give up or stop writing, so I must conclude I will continue until the day I die.

5. Is there a specific topic you enjoy?

Absolutely! I only blog about topics I enjoy, namely teenage dating, theology, SEO, blogging, and Christianity. There is a limitless amount of content contained within those topics, and I rarely struggle to create posts.

My nominees

1: Mitch Teemly

2: Gracie

3: The Levine Lowdown

4: Todd Linn

5: Heaven

Note: These are bloggers that I legitimately admire and enjoy reading. They create quality content, and I am a massive fan of their individual work. While they do not need to participate, I would be honored if they did.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

  1. If i could have a favourite blogger to choose from I want you to know that your name will come uppermost in my mind. I like the way you responded to the questions with forthright simplicity and honesty. To me, you earned this award even before it was instituted. Well deserved. I also admire your choice of nominees as I have deep respect for some of them. In all, I thank God for creating opportunities for recognition and mutual encouragement, we all need it. Keep pushing through Elisha. You will always hear the loudest cheer from me.

  4. I’m truly honored, Elisha! However, I don’t do blogger awards anymore, preferring instead to actively support those who are still building a following by doing so. Thanks again!
