Hi, I’m Elisha McFarland. Welcome to my blog!

In case you’re wondering why I’m worth your reading time, here’s a little about me: I, Elisha McFarland, am a Christian writer and blogger located in the Charleston, West Virginia area. I love finding unique perspectives to create intriguing theories and questions, and I enjoy tackling difficult topics such as apologetics and fatherhood.

Furthermore, I am solely dedicated to helping others learn about the glorious wonder of Christ and His creations. In this, I publish thrice-weekly on topics such as Theology, Search Engine Optimization, blogging, and occasional random stories.

This blog also documents my personal walk with Christ, and a lot of topics I write about are based on personal struggles or discoveries. This is the first step on my journey to become a known author, and it has been fantastic so far!

So, if you’re interested, just click the Blog button to read some of my posts. If you enjoy them, don’t forget to click that Follow button! It’s really important that you don’t miss any new posts. If you want to learn more about me, click the About button. Also, don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to talk. I love getting feedback from my readers!

Finally, allow me to make you a promise: I am dedicated to helping people enjoy reading, and because of this, I will never spam you or ask you for money. I’m just a writer that wants to help people.

Alright, thanks for reading my blog, and I hope you have a great day!

  1. Hey there Elisha! I found your blog through a collab that you did with Newblogger20 and it was awesome! You have such a cool blog!
Anyways, you’re probably wondering who this weirdo person is, so I’ll introduce myself. My name is Keziah and I have 5 younger siblings. I live in Oklahoma, USA and am home-schooled. I love Jesus, writing, blogging, YouTubing, eating cheese and just about anything with dairy. So yeah. Sorry for all that. XD

Hey Elisha, I just wanted to say how cool it is to see that there are good Christian guys like you out there and that you’re openly and outwardly proclaiming Christ and trying to help those around you. A lot of the stuff on your blog is really helpful and kind of rare to find. Thanks for writing this stuff.

Funnily enough, I’m also a missionary kid living in Uganda, and getting ready to face the prospect of living in America for college. I’d love to get to know you and talk more if you’re interested. It’s always amazing to meet other MK’s who have faced similar things and can relate to the pressures of being a Christian in this crazy world we live in.

Anyway, thanks for all your doing in this blog. I pray that God uses it to change the lives of your readers and make them draw closer to Him.

    1. Hey, thanks Ana! I really appreciate the support. Interestingly, I know your brother Nick (I’m assuming he gave you this) and he’s been an awesome fan! You are totally welcome to comment and ask questions in the Q/A page! I really love questions and they brighten my day.
      Where do you guys live?

Hey Elisha, I love reading all your essays and hearing your perspective on different topics. Your blog is great and very helpful and I really enjoy hearing what it is like in Uganda. If I ever get to take a missions trip it will be to Uganda. Thank you so much for doing all this.

  4. Hi Elisha,

Popped over to your blog as Mohamad from Martial Path nominated my travel and photography blog for the Food Award, which I believe you created, so thank you!

I haven’t been to Africa since 1985 when I spent 2 months travelling through the spectacular continent whilst solo-backpacking around the world for 12 months. I’m sure everything has changed since then… 😉

  5. Hey, Elisha! Sorry I haven’t been able to read your posts much; I’ve been super busy. I have a questions though. If I remember correctly, on your “Africa Boy” blog, you used to have a pop-up for your Mailchimp email list. How did you do that? I am currently trying to build a website with the “Personal” plan and I want to make a pop-up for an email list, however it says that WordPress.com can’t have pop-ups. Thanks so much!
